Meizu, a new Chinese smartphone
brand, has today launched its new low cost 4G smartphone in India. Focused
towards the audience with budget under Rs. 10,000, the Meizu M2 packs a decent
specs with affordable price tag of Rs. 6,999.
But
the question is did you should buy it?
Before answering that, let’s
quickly see what the Meizu M2 smartphone is offering at this price tag. Well,
for Rs. 6,999, you are getting a phone with 5-inch of normal 720p display
screen with AGC Dragontrail protective glass on the top and pixel density of
296ppi. Fine? following that, the Meizu M2 is powered by a 64-bit quad-core
MediaTek MT6735 processor inside, clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 2GB of
RAM.
One of the most interesting and
attractive thing about Meizu M2 is its design. Although the smartphone follows
Meizu’s design tradition, but for first time users it is like a mixture of
Apple’s iPhone and Samsung Galaxy smartphones. (Which is a good thing).
Continuing the specs, the Meizu
M2 packs a 13-megapixel camera on the back with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and a

operating system based custom version of Android.

Meizu M2 supports Indian 4G networks. So, you can buy any 4G enabled SIM card
in India and get started. For the technical experts, it supports 1800MHz
FDD-LTE band in India.
It features a Sony-made battery
of 2500mAH capacity. According to Meizu, the M2 will offer 23 hours of talk
time on 2G network, 10 hours of web surfing on 4G and 680 hours of standby
time.
