Leaked Image shows Samsung’s slimmest smartphone, Galaxy A8


Samsung Galaxy A8, which is rumored to be the Samsung’s slimmest smartphone has been leaked on the Internet. The leaked images shows Galaxy A8 along with the Galaxy Note 4. If rumors are true then the upcoming Galaxy A8 will be just 5.9mm thick, making itself the slimmest Samsung smartphone till date. At this thickness, the Galaxy A8 will be 2.6mm thinner than the Galaxy Note 4 and a millimeter thinner than Samsung’s new flagship device, the Galaxy S6.

Along with the slim body, the Samsung Galaxy A8 will pack a big Note 4 like display screen of 5.7-inch Super AMOLED. The display will be of full HD resolution. The new Galaxy A8 seems to pack slightly larger bezels, as compared to the Note. Other features include a Snapdragon 615 processor with 2GB of RAM, 16MP camera on the back and a 5MP camera on the front. The device weighs just 140 grams and has a 3,050mAH battery inside.


On the design front, the Galaxy A8 is a lot identical to the newly launched Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. But instead of the Gorilla Glass back, it has got a plastic panel. So, the battery inside the Galaxy A8 will be removable, along with a microSD card slot.


While there are currently no details when Samsung is planning to launch this smartphone, but according to NowhereElse, the Galaxy A8 will firstly go on sale in Asia.
