Couple of days back, OnePlus announced that it will be using the USB Type-C cord for its upcoming flagship OnePlus 2 and now the company has given us a first look at these USB Type-C cables.
The USB Type-C is a new USB standard that features identical-sided cables, two-way transfer + charging, which means you can charge your wireless headset too with your smartphone and more.
The new cord looks pretty cool as you can see in the photo above, courtesy of OnePlus. The USB Type-C for OnePlus 2 features signature red along with logo on each end. The design is flat tangle-free to protect the innards of the cable. The cord looks pretty neat and thanks to the advent to USB Type-C, this will make OnePlus 2 fans excited about the smartphone.
By this, OnePlus 2 will be the first flagship smartphone to use Type-C USB. That isn’t all, the company has also revealed that it will be powered by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and will be unveiled on July 27th in a first of its kind Virtual Reality Product Launch event.
