BSNL says All Calls To Nepal Will Be Charged At Local Rates For Next 2 Days

Almost every Indian knows about yesterday’s devastating earthquake which hit Nepal. Now BSNL has announced that all the calls made to Nepal will be charged at local call rates for the next three days. As BSNL doesn’t want to stop anyone from contacting their loved ones due to high call rates.

“All calls that will be made from BSNL network will be charged as per local call rate for next three days,” BSNL CMD Anupam Shrivastava told PTI. The decision was approved by Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

More than 1800 people were killed by the powerful earthquake of 7.9 magnitude which hit Nepal on Saturday. It has already destroyed many building and houses. Effecting other parts of India too.
