Ratan Tata invests in Xiaomi

Xiaomi, the chinese smartphone manufacturing company has received a new investment. This time it is from a name which is well known in India, Mr Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons.

Hugo Barra posted the news on his official Facebook account. “We’re incredibly honored by this extraordinary vote of confidence. Mr Tata is very excited about Xiaomi and our plans for India, and we’re really looking forward to working with him as an investor and advisor!”

While we don’t know how much Mr. Tata is planning to invest, but it is really a good news for Xiaomi fans. As this might help Xiaomi to expand its reach in the Indian market.
