If you have used a phone running stock version of Android
operating system then I am pretty much sure that you might be aware of the fact
that it doesn’t come with any file explorer or file manager. So, if you want to
manage your files then you will have to download a 3rd party file explorer app.
But now it appears like Google is finally fixing it.
The latest version of Android i.e. Android 6.0 Marshmallow,
comes with a new built-in file manager system, allowing you to easily explorer
all your files. It also allows you to copy or delete files.
To access this file manager, just make sure you are running
Android Marshmallow and go to the “Settings” option. Scroll down and you will
notice a new option called “Storage and USB.” Tap on that and you are good to
go. On the next screen you will see different sections like Apps, Photo,
Documents and more. All of which have been divided to sort your files. But if
you directly want to explore the internal storage, just scroll down and tap the
“Explore” option.
So, Marshmallow users can now use this file manager to
manage their files.
