Google’s new version of Android for Internet of Things coming next week


Seems like Google wants to focus on the internet of things now. The company is reportedly working on a new software which will run on low-end devices and give them an option to easily communicate with other devices. The software is internally dubbed as “Brillo,” but according to The Information report, it will debut as a new version of Android next week, during Google I/O 2015 conference.
Brillo is expected to be specially designed for low-power devices with low RAM like 32 or 64MB in size and will be used to connect devices like smart refrigerators with light bulbs or any other items.
While we don’t know how it will look, but many other brands have already started diving into them. Apart from Google, Microsoft is also releasing a new version of Windows 10, which will be called as Windows 10 IoT Core and is expected to power ATMs, ultrasound machines, and wearables.
Huawei has also unveiled its very own  IoT OS. Analysts belive that soon internet of things will be a big deal. So, it is good to see that every major brands are already planning to dive in.
