Back in December, BitTorrent released
the alpha version of its secure web browser Project Maelstrom. The
company aims to make Maelstrom work in the way BitTorrent does. Now
taking it to the next step, BitTorrent is finally bringing the beta
version of this browser.
According to BitTorrent, since the release of alpha version the
company has attracted more than 10,000 developers and 3,500
publishers. All from different categories including, technologists,
researchers and academics.
Along with the new beta version of Project Maelstrom, BitTorrent has
also released a new set of developer tools, which will help publishers
and developers to ” leverage the efficiency of BitTorrent technology in
their content and interactive experiences.”
The beta is currently available for Windows users. Mac users will receive it very soon.
